With Me Always

I started writing With Me Always as a book for my beloved daughter. It is a book that explains The Beautiful Withness to children.
The picture book is the story of a little girl asking God where he is when life is hard and following God’s response describing all the places he is even though she can’t see him. The book aims to open children’s imaginations to the possibility of a God who is with them in all things and whose love can be found around them all the time, even when life is tough.
We can easily think that little minds are unaware of the hardship around them, but when we take the time to hear their thoughts, we will find that children are aware of it all and are trying to make sense of it just as adults are. This book hopes to give language and imagery to feelings they may be having and offer some hope of where God is in it all.
